NEWS FLASH -- THE SKY IS BLUE!

Philly Inquirer - Obama's Race May Be the Decider
(DUHHH?)

Here's a sampling:
Union organizers in the key state of Michigan complain in the press that, as one puts it, "we're all struggling to some extent with the problem of white workers who will not vote for Obama because of his color." An aging mine electrician from Kentucky is quoted as saying, "I won't vote for a colored man. He'll put too many coloreds in jobs." An elderly woman in a New Jersey hair salon is overheard complaining about Barack and Michelle Obama the other day, about how blacks supposedly have larger bones than whites, and about how she's fleeing America if Obama wins.
Well, you know what I say? Good! Flee America, then! We could certainly use fewer racist jerks in this country! Score one for Intolerance of the Intolerant!

If Biden had a pregnant teenage daughter....

... the Rethuglican attack dogs would be totally onto him. More onto him than a surjective map. They'd tear him to shreds. Abstinence-only education? Well that worked out well, didn't it. I get it -- teenage pregnancy is wrong, unless you're Rethuglican... as long as God is on your side! Heck, it makes you look like a true, down-to-earth family! Talk about the (pregnant) mother of all flip-flops... the entire party is at it.

Who's out of touch about offshore drilling?

Score one for Obama!

Snippet from Time article:

"The Bush Administration estimates that expanded offshore drilling could increase oil production by 200,000 bbl. per day by 2030. We use about 20 million bbl. per day, so that would meet about 1% of our demand two decades from now. Meanwhile, efficiency experts say that keeping tires inflated can improve gas mileage 3%, and regular maintenance can add another 4%. Many drivers already follow their advice, but if everyone did, we could immediately reduce demand several percentage points. In other words: Obama is right."
